Lalit grew up in India, where he watched his grandfather farm and grew an appreciation for agriculture. After earning a doctorate in pharmaceutical sciences and medicine, doing stem cell research, earning an MBA, and working in business and entrepreneurship, that appreciation for agriculture found him again and he started SenseGrass.
